Acne scars prevention by staying out from the sun
Ultraviolet rays from the sun can make our skin produces color pigment from the melanocytes cells. It makes the discoloration getting worst. You may apply sunscreen that has sun protection factor of 30 or higher. It will prevent the acne scars from getting worse since it can block the ultraviolet rays. Use it after swimming or after sweating. It is also better to use it after you are exposed with the sun after 2 hours. So in order to prevent the scars you need to limit your exposed time or stay away from the sun especially in the noon.
Acne scars can be healed itself
Acne is so disturbing and tempting us to pick and squeeze it especially when it comes to the acne in face. However, picking the acne can lead to an inflammation. It will make collagen, the substance that can heal the scars, loss. The collagen loss makes the acne scars on face getting worse. It enhances the discoloration and also the scars. Squeezing the acne to make the pimples out also causes an access for bacteria to go deeper. It also creates collagen damage.
It turns out that using vitamin E on the skin scars is not a good solution. You may heard that this will heal the scars faster but a study conducted by University of Miami shows the vice versa. Instead of heal faster, it hinder the natural healing process of the scars. Acne scars should be treated with care and don’t forget to choose the correct acne treatment.
